Clad in silver the band are all movement and the music, thick heavy beats and strong vocals and the music rapidly infects the packed tent. It’s all f*ckin’ hardcore as she empties a bottle over her head, and sorties into tracks from ‘fatherf*cker’ and is making it clear it’s more than a novelty act these days. She strips down to a red sequined number to great applause before launching into more lyrics implicitly explicit to tunes with basslines that pound through the floor from the guitar keyboard. She might be taking the novelty seriously but it wears a little thin after a while and I am tempted away by the promise of good acts on offer on other stages.
